Lions and BABY Lions!
After a series of evaluations to ensure that the cubs were ready, the National Zoo and DCist announced that the seven cubs born this fall are ready for their debut! Starting today the cubs will be in the outside exhibt from 12:30-1:30PM (weather permitting).
For more details on the cubs and how difficult breeding lions can be, check out the Washingtonian article here.
Want to be sure to catch the cubs and all their cuteness? Check out the National Zoo for view updates and the lioncubcam for seeing the cubs outside of viewing hours.
